Coumarin 466 is a versatile fluorescent dye known for its strong green fluorescence, used for fluorescent labeling, as a laser dye, biological imaging and chemical sensing. It is used as an intermediate for the development of different specific fluorescent dyes. Spectral data: λex 380 nm; λem 460 nm in methanol.
