DLL1 (mouse):Fc (human) (rec.)
A mouse preadipocyte cell line, 3T3L1, was stimulated with 5mg/ml of mouse DLL1-Fc as in indicated time points and each cell lysate was prepared and subjected to western blot by using anti-mouse Hes1 or GAPDH.

3T3L1 cells were maintained in DMEM, supplemented with 10% fetal bovine serum, penicilin-streptomycin. Adipogenesis was initiated by adding 1μM dexamethasone, 0.5mM IBMX, 10μg/m insulin (day 0) until day 2. The medium was replaced every 2 days with new medium containing insulin in the presence or absence of 5μg/ml mDLL1-Fc (Prod. No. AG-40A-0148Y) and hCD137-Fc (Fc control). Staining with Oil Red O was typically performed on day 7. Cells were washed twice with PBS, fixed with 3.7% formalin and stained with 0.5% filtered Oil Red O in propylene glycol.

The Notch ligand delta-like protein 1 (DLL1) is essential for postnatal arteriogenesis and contributes to tumor progression. DLL1 is involved in differentiation and self-renewal of adipocyte stem cells. Blocks the differentiation of progenitor cells into the B cell lineage while promoting the emergence of a population of cells with the characteristics of a T cell/NK cell precursor.
