Enzolution™ DDX5 ATPase FP Assay System

The Enzolution DDX5 ATPase Assay System provides researchers with an assay tool that will simplify and advance their exploration of novel DDX5/innate immunity modulators. DDX5, a DEAD Box helicase protein characterized by the conserved motif Asp-Glu-Ala-Asp (DEAD), is an ATP-dependent RNA helicase that unwinds RNA-RNA and RNA-DNA duplexes. The assay system includes DDX5 enzyme, RNA substrate, assay plates, and buffers to generate a DDX5 enzymatic reaction to produce ADP. The Transcreener ADP FP Assay (sold separately) is a far-red, competitive assay that directly measures ADP production to determine enzymatic activity with a fluorescence polarization (FP) readout. The Transcreener ADP FP Assay is not included in the Enzolution Assay System but is available for separate purchases. The Transcreener ADP assay is designed for HTS, Hit-to-Lead, SAR, and general discovery.
