Description
Veliparib 2HCl is a PARP1 and PARP2 inhibitor that has been fully validated using the Transcreener pADPr PARP Assay and Enzolution Assay Systems. An IC50 of 1.42 nM for PARP1 and an IC50 of 1.5 nM for PARP2 were obtained using a 12-point dose-response assay.
Described to be an inhibitor of PARP1 and PARP2 (Kis = 5.2 and 2.9 nM, respectively). Restores sensitivity to DNA alkylator/methylator temozolomide in glioma cells and xenografts and enhances radiotherapy sensitivity in endometrial carcinoma cells. Also improves sensitivity to DNA replication inhibitor cisplatin in human oral carcinoma cells.
