Description
The activating transcription factors (ATFs) belong to the AP-1 family of transcription factors. ATF consists of seven members, ATF1 to 7. ATF7 (originally called ATFa) is ubiquitously expressed in various tissues and plays important roles in G1 and S phases. ATF7 might be important in controlling memory in cells of the innate immune system.
