Description
TAF13 is a core component of the TFIID complex, which is essential for RNA polymerase II-dependent transcription initiation. It plays a critical role in stabilizing TFIID and facilitating transcription regulation. TAF13 forms a heterodimer with TAF11, which is essential for maintaining TFIID stability.
