4-Benzylamino-7-nitrobenzofurazan is a fluorescent probe. It exhibits absorption and emission bands that are sensitive to solvent polarity, and is used as fluorescent probes in the study of micellar and lipid bilayer structures. Shorter fluorescence lifetimes are observed with more polar solvents, making the probes suited for studies of binary solvent systems. Spectral Data: λEx/λEm (EtOH) = 460/540nm.
