Description
BAPTA-TMFM is a fluorescent chelating indicator used to study the role of cytosolic free calcium. It utilizes the high calcium affinity and selectivity of the BAPTA scaffold paired with a tetramethyl ester functionalization that enables measurable optical responses. Is used as precusor or intermediate in the synthesis of tailored Ca2+ fluorescent indicators, such as Indo-1. Spectral Data: λmax=337 ± 3nm (MeOH).
