Description

6-Chloropurine is a building block in chemical synthesis and is used as an intermediate in the preparation of 9-alkylpurines via alkylation with various substituted alkyl halides in DMSO. 6-Chloropurine based compounds have been shown to display antiviral and antitumor properties.
