Description

Protodioscin is a steroidal saponin first isolated from plants, with anticancer, antihyperlipidemic, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and neuroprotective properties. It displays cytotoxic, apoptosis incuding and antiproliferative activity against a range of cancer cells. Protodioscin has also been shown to have aphrodisiac properties.
