Description
EX-527 is a SIRT1 inhibitor that has been fully validated using the Transcreener OAADPr SIRT Assay and Enzolution SIRT1 Assay System. An IC50 of 206 nM for SIRT1 was obtained using a 12-point dose-response assay.
Selective SIRT1 inhibitor (IC50=206 nM). Does not inhibit other HDACs or SIRT family members. Increases p53 acetylation following DNA damage. EX-527 is a small molecule inhibitor of SIRT1 (Sirtuin 1), a member of the sirtuin family of proteins that play a critical role in regulating cellular processes like metabolism, aging, and stress resistance. SIRT1 acts as a NAD+-dependent deacetylase, which influences various cellular pathways, including gene expression, DNA repair, and inflammation.
