Description
This pure-6 isomer is a derivative of carboxy-X-rhodamine, widely used for oligonucleotide labeling and automated DNA sequencing applications. ROX is a passive fluorescent dye used in real-time PCR (qPCR) for signal normalisation. By normalising the fluorescent signal, this can reduce the variability between technical replicates.
