Scientific Background Information

Product Description

Fluorescent substrate for oxidoreductases, especially for Cytochrome P450 family members CYP2C9, CYP2C19, and CYP2E1. Spectral data: λex=333nm; λem=416nm (in methanol). Has been used extensively in high-throughput screens in fluorometric p450 activity assays, and is metabolized to the fluorescent metabolite 7-Hydroxy-4-trifluoromethylcoumarin (HFC) with λex=410nm; λem=538nm.
