Description
PBS is isotonic at physiological pH and non-toxic to most cells. PBS has many uses which include substance dilution and cell container rinsing. Endotoxin free buffers especially can be used for the dilution of TLRpure LPS and solubilisation of endotoxin-free reagents (e.g. ODNs). PBS with EDTA is used to detach and dissociate clumped cells in cell culture applications.
