The Enzolution DDX3 ATPase Assay System provides researchers with an assay tool that will simplify and advance their exploration of novel DDX3/innate immunity modulators. DDX3, a DEAD Box helicase protein characterized by the conserved motif Asp-Glu-Ala-Asp (DEAD), is an ATP-dependent RNA helicase that unwinds RNA-RNA and RNA-DNA duplexes. The assay system includes DDX3 enzyme, RNA substrate, assay plates, and buffers to generate a DDX3 enzymatic reaction to produce ADP. The Transcreener ADP FI Assay (sold separately) is a far-red, competitive assay that directly measures ADP production to determine enzymatic activity with a fluorescence intensity (FI) readout. The Transcreener ADP FI Assay is not included in the Enzolution Assay System but is available for separate purchases. The Transcreener ADP assay is designed for HTS, Hit-to-Lead, SAR, and general discovery.
When purchasing the DDX3 ATPase FI Assay System, it is important to choose the assay system readout corresponding to the FI configuration of your Transcreener ADP2 Assay Kit!
