Synonyms COMP-Ang1; COMP:Ang-1; COMP Angiopoietin 1; COMP ANGPT1
Product Type Protein
Properties
Source/Host CHO cells
Sequence

The fibrinogen-like domain (aa 284-498) of human angiopoietin-1 is fused at the N-terminus to the coiled-coil domain of rat COMP (cartilage oligomeric matrix protein) and to a FLAG®-tag.

Crossreactivity Human
Specificity

Binds to human angiopoietin-1 receptor (Tie-2).

Biological Activity

More potent than native angiopoietin-1. The protein forms pentameric structures.
