Antibacterial with improved activity than actagardine against Staphylococcus spp. and Streptococcus spp.

Shows significant activity against Gram-positive anaerobic bacteria, such as Clostridium difficile, C. butyricum, C. perfringens and Peptostreptococcus asaccharolyticus.
