Description
  • Broad spectrum antifungal agent compared to sordarin. Shows growth inhibitory activity against pathogenic fungal strains such as Candida albicansC. glabrata and Cryptococcus neoformans.

  • Inhibits the protein synthesis in C. albicans, but not mammalian cells, most probably through elongation factor inhibition.
