anti-CD133 (human), mAb (ANC9C5) (Biotin)

Figure 1: Antibody ANC9C5 was tested for its ability to bind to human Y-79 retinoblastoma cells in flow cytometry. Five x 10^5 cells per tube were pre incubated with 20 µl of 250 µg/ml human Ig (to block non specific binding) after which they were incubated 45 min on ice with 80 µl of anti-CD133/Biotin (#ANC-363-030) at a concentration of 5 µg/ml. Cells were washed twice and incubated with Streptavidin/PE (#ANC-253-050), after which they were washed three times, fixed and analyzed by FACS. Cells stained positive for CD133 with a mean shift of 0.8 log10 fluorescent units when compared to a Mouse IgG1/Biotin negative control (#ANC-278-030). Binding was blocked when cells were pre incubated 10 minutes with 20 µl of 0.5 mg/ml of unconjugated anti-CD133 antibody (#ANC-363-020).
