Description

The Enzolution™ DHX9 ATPase Assay System is intended for use with the Transcreener® ADP2 Assay Kits to measure the ATP-dependent RNA helicase activity of DHX9, a member of the DExH/D helicase family. Though it is classified as an RNA helicase, DHX9 also has been reported to unwind DNA and DNA:RNA hybrids. ADP formation by the RNA helicase activity of DHX9 can be easily measured by the Transcreener ADP2 assay, a far-red, competitive fluorescence assay that enables single addition, mix-and-read detection in a continuous or endpoint format. The assay has been optimized and extensively validated for high throughput screening (HTS) and inhibitor dose response measurements using most multimode plate readers. The Transcreener ADP FI Assay is not included in the Enzolution Assay System but is available for separate purchases. The Transcreener ADP assay is designed for HTS, Hit-to-Lead, SAR, and general discovery.

When purchasing the DHX9 ATPase Assay System, it is important to choose the assay system readout corresponding to the FI configuration of your Transcreener ADP2 Assay Kit!
